Week 17

Like family at weddings and funerals, there are friends I only see at going-away-parties and company meetings.

Week 16

I now know where kids get there energy: they leach it from surrounding adults. I went in to work this week brimming with energy only to leave a drained husk.

Week 15

You can think of Cherry Blossom Viewing season like this: an upgraded St. Patrick's day. Under all the history and culture both just an excuse to drink from sun-up 'til way past sun-down. The improvement comes in that it's not one day a year, but a whole week.

Week 14

New school year, new schools, new students, new challenges, new rewards, new furniture, new books, new cell phone, new technology. Gotta love the spring.

Week 13

Having survived the "New Flu" epidemic and all the winter bugs that went around, it's a bit of a kick in the teeth to catch a cold this late in the spring.

Week 12

It IS possible to get more weird looks than just being a normal gaijin... but it takes dressing up in a 6 foot long red trench-coat and putting on a spiky blond wig.

Week 11

Release from boredom and repetition only sounds fun until it happens.
On the other hand... change is good.
