Week 39

Last week's rent-a-car excursion to Tokyo really reminded me how much I love Tokyo, driving, and traveling with friends.

*Lots of pictures were taken and stories unfurled, so there may be a big post forthcoming (but don"t hold your breath.)

Week 38

Post-dated post again this week as I'm out of town on a road-trip to Tokyo. Hurray for 4 day weekends!

Week 37

The combination of daytime highs under 90 (32c) signaling the approach of fall, payday, a bit of retail therapy, and a thorough revision/shoring up of my 5 year plan has me back in high spirits. It's good to be cool, rich, well appointed, and have some direction again.

Week 36

A bit of "Holy cow I'm almost 30" panic and some home-sickness had me re-evaluating my 5 year plan. After a week of calming down and thinking about it; it's a good plan as is. I'd still like a little time to adventure before I come home and start my life.
